About Send Time & Email Scheduler

Here you will learn about Send Time and Email Scheduler that you need to know. This is also related to an update in the Email Scheduler which will use 5 minute intervals in each email campaign.

How does Send Time work?

By system, email will only be sent in multiples of 5 minutes. For example, 10.05, or 05.20, and so on. If you choose a time outside a multiple of 5 minutes, it will be simplified up to the nearest minute. For example, you want to send an email at 12:14, it will be simplified to 12:15. If you want to send an email at 08.22, it will be simplified to 08.20, and so on.

Does this also apply to Email Scheduler?

Yes, this method is also used if you use Email Scheduler. Overall, it works the same way as previously described in How does Send Time work.

If you schedule an email to be sent at 10.12, it will be automatically simplified to 10.10. Then an email will be sent at 10:10.

What if I want to send an email Immediately?

The 5 minute interval method also applies to Sending Immediately emails. But there is a slight difference here.

If you send an email in multiples of 5 minutes, it will be sent 5 minutes later. For example, you send an email at 12.15, then the system will send it at 12.20.

If you send an email outside the 5th minute multiples, it will be sent in the next 5th minute multiples. For example, you send an email at 12.12, then the system will send it at 12.20.

Why is it necessary to use 5 minute intervals?

You must be wondering, why does sending email need to use 5 minute intervals? This is so that our system can send emails on time, and avoid the possibility of sending emails that fail to be sent to the recipient (except bounced emails)

We have also provided an option to cancel sending emails if you wish to change the send time. Cancel Campaign can be done as long as your email has not been sent within the time that has been simplified up to 5 minute intervals. For example, if you make a delivery at 12:10 and choose to send email Immediately, then your email will be sent at 12:15. As long as you haven’t passed 12:15, the email campaign can still be cancelled. If in the Email Schedule, as long as the email has not been sent, the email campaign can still be canceled.
