Saving Contacts from Typeform to MTARGET via Zapier

In this article, you will learn how to integrate your MTARGET account with Typeform via Zapier. This integration allows all response data collected via Typeform to be automatically sent to your MTARGET account. You can choose between two types of integration for Typeform.

Before starting, make sure you have set up a form in Typeform. Ensure your form has the fields Email, Firstname, and Label. Once done, follow these steps to integrate your MTARGET account with Zapier to fetch data from Typeform:

Setting Up Integration

  1. Open your Zapier account, click 'My Apps', and search for mtarget.co in the search bar.

  2. You will be prompted to enter an API Token. Open your MTARGET account, go to the Integration menu, and find the API Token. Copy and paste it into the Zapier page. Then click 'Yes, Continue'.

  3. To verify the integration, click 'Test'. If you see a 'Success' notification, your MTARGET account is successfully integrated with Zapier.

  4. Go back to the 'My Apps' page in Zapier and search for 'Typeform'. You will need to log in to your Typeform account. Perform a test to ensure your Typeform account is successfully logged in to Zapier.

Set Up Trigger

  1. Go to the Zap menu and click 'Create Zap'.

  2. Set the title of your Zap.

  3. In the search bar, select Typeform.

  4. Select your Typeform account.

  5. Select the form you created in Typeform to be integrated.

  6. After successful selection, test the data by filling out the form in Typeform, then click 'Test Trigger'. If the following screen appears, your test data is successful.

Set Up Action

  1. Next, type MTARGET in the search bar and click.

  2. In 'Choose Action Event', select 'Save Contact'.

  3. Customize Contact: match the fields with mandatory fields like Email, Firstname, and Label as shown below.

  4. A sample data to be sent to the MTARGET Contact Book will appear. Click 'Test & Continue'.

  5. After completion, review the integration flow. If everything is correct, click 'Done Editing', then 'Turn on Zap' to activate the integration.

Once activated, all data entered through Typeform will be synchronized to your MTARGET Contact Book.


Integrate to save Form data from Typeform to MTARGET Form

Here you will learn how to integrate Typeform with MTARGET to receive data from Typeform directly into the MTARGET form reports. Follow these steps:

Setting Up Integration

  1. Open your Zapier account, click 'My Apps', and search for mtarget.co in the search bar.

  2. Enter the API Token from your MTARGET account (found in the Integration menu). Copy and paste it into the Zapier page and click 'Yes, Continue'.

  3. Verify the integration by clicking 'Test'. If successful, you will see a 'Success' notification.

  4. Go back to 'My Apps' in Zapier and search for 'Typeform'. Log in to your Typeform account and perform a test to ensure successful login.

Set Up Trigger

  1. Go to the Zap menu and click 'Create Zap'.

  2. Set the title of your Zap.

  3. In the search bar, select Typeform.

  4. Select your Typeform account.

  5. Select the form created in Typeform for integration.

  6. Test the data by filling out the form in Typeform, then click 'Test Trigger'. If successful, the following screen will appear.

Set Up Action

  1. Next, type MTARGET in the search bar and click.

  2. In 'Choose Action Event', select 'Submit Form Data'.

  3. Choose your account.

  4. Customize Form: select the MTARGET form to integrate with Typeform. Match the column names in Typeform with those in MTARGET Form. Ensure the column names are identical.

  5. In the 'Send Data' stage, Zapier will fetch data from Typeform and send it to the selected MTARGET form. Click 'Test & Continue'. If successful, sample data will appear in the MTARGET form report.

  6. Review the integration flow and click 'Done Editing' if correct. Then, 'Turn on Zap' to activate the integration.

Once activated, all form data from Typeform will appear in the MTARGET form report.
