Updated this week

Mailtarget has released two minor updates aimed at increasing product awareness and providing new users with more opportunities to explore.

These updates apply to:

  • Mailtarget Email Marketing

  • Mailtarget Email API

1️⃣ Switching Between Email API & Email Marketing Dashboards

What's Changed?

Now, each dashboard (Email API & Email Marketing) has a button to access the other product.

Example:

  • User logs in to Email Marketing → a CTA "Go to Email API" appears in the header.

  • User logs in to Email API → a CTA "Go to Email Marketing" appears in the header.

Clicking this button will redirect the user to the login page for the desired product.

Currently, logins are separate. Users still need to log in again when switching dashboards.

Update Goals

  • To raise awareness that the Mailtarget ecosystem has two main products

  • To simplify the process for users using more than one product

  • To provide clearer access from within the dashboard

Going forward, login will require a single account for both products. However, for now, the dashboard and login systems are still separate.

2️⃣ Free User Credit Claim

What's Changed?

We've updated the credit scheme for new free users.

Previously, free users only received 10 email credits, with no additional credits added after reaching the limit.

Now, new free users can claim additional credits after reaching the initial sending limit.

Who gets this benefit?

This feature only applies to:

✅ New free users

❌ Not applicable to existing users who previously paid and then reverted to free

How does the system work?

Step 1 – Registration

Every new user will receive:

  • 10 email credits for Email Marketing

  • 10 email credits for the Email API

Step 2 – Reaching the Limit

After 10 emails have been sent and the limit has been reached, users can claim additional credit directly from the dashboard.

Step 3 – Additional Credit Processed

Once the claim is approved, the user will receive:

  • 1,000 email credits for Email Marketing

  • 3,000 email credits for the Email API

This amount follows the official information on the pricing page:

The Goal of This Update:

  • Provide more exploration space for new users

  • Reduce friction during the product evaluation phase

  • Help users explore use cases more fully before upgrading
