Overview

The Analytics Report is a robust and adaptable tool specifically designed to simplify the process of visualizing time-series trends within your data. It offers a range of capabilities, including the analysis of sending and deliverability events, the ability to compare different segments, and much more. With the Analytics Report, you can gain valuable insights and make informed decisions based on the comprehensive analysis of your data.

If you’ve used the reports before, you’ll notice some new, powerful features:

  • Preset Report

  • Selectable time precision

  • Advance breakdown filter

Reporting Concepts

Time Range

The date selector feature allows you to specify the time frame for the data you wish to view. By selecting a specific date and time range, the report will only display data that falls within that range. This enables you to focus on the desired data and analyze it accordingly.

Time Zone

Data is presented in your local time zone when the time precision is less than one day. However, if the time precision is equal to or greater than one day, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is utilized. This ensures consistency and standardization of time representation, particularly for longer time periods or when dealing with data from different time zones.

Precision

Precision is the time range that one data point represents. Precision can be set to 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month. For example, setting a precision of 1 hour will aggregate your data into 1 hour data points in a time-series chart. Hovering over the time-series charts will reveal data rolled up to the precision value set.

Metrics Deliverability

We offer metrics are categorized by the stage of the email lifecycle: injection, delivery, deliverability*, and engagement.

Each selected metric will be elegantly visualized through dynamic time-series charts, providing a clear representation of data trends over time. The richness of available data expands based on the chosen metrics, offering a deeper understanding of your email performance. For instance, when selecting a bounce metric, a dedicated tab will reveal comprehensive bounce classification information, allowing you to precisely analyze and address bounce-related issues. Similarly, opting for an engagement metric will unlock invaluable insights into link engagement, enabling you to optimize your campaigns effectively.

Advance Filters

A filter lets you view details on specific segments of your traffic. You can include or exclude data with filters. Filtering is available for any type of resource, such as sending domain, campaign, and more.

Aggregates

Aggregate data for your selected date range and metrics are displayed below the time-series charts. Remember, the same information is available via the metrics API, so your own code can retrieve and process it.

Breakdowns

Breakdowns give you more visibility into your data by grouping your data by any resource type. This makes it easy to find the highest and lowest performers of any resource type, sending domain, recipient and others.
