In this article, you will learn how to maximize the use of Pages from MTARGET with Facebook Ads to help distribute your Pages. This integration aims to target Ads to the right people through the data you already have. You will be asked to upload your email data, which Facebook will analyze to find new people who have not seen your ads but have similar characteristics to the email contacts you uploaded.

This will significantly enhance the Pages you created on MTARGET. Here are the steps:

  1. The first thing you can do is maximize the use of Facebook Pixel. This way, after your Page is included in the Ads, you can read the existing parameters. To integrate Pages with Facebook Pixel, you can read it here.

  2. After successfully integrating your Page with Facebook Pixel, the next step is to click the dropdown button at the top left. In the Events Manager section, click Offline Events.

  1. After entering the Offline Events menu, click the Add New Data Source button, then enter your campaign name.

  1. Next, click the "Upload Offline Events" button. You will be asked to upload data. Before uploading data, click the 'View Example' hyperlink to ensure the headers required by Facebook Ads are included in your Excel file. It is recommended to use an Excel file in .csv format.

Ensure you have the Customer Details, Event Time, and Event Details in your file. Once you are sure all requirements are met, upload your CSV data. Then click the "Next: Map Data" button.

  1. If the upload process meets the requirements, it will be marked with a checklist. If not, it will not be checked. Once the three requirements are met, click the "Next: Review" button.

  2. Here, your file will be reviewed, and a summary of your data will be displayed. You can see which rows contain errors and such. If you are sure of the file to be uploaded, click the "Start Upload" button.

  3. Facebook will process your data. The more email contact data you have, the longer the process. Wait until the data processing is complete.

  4. After completion, your Offline Event menu will show an overview like this:

  1. Now you need to create a "Custom Audience". Click the "Create Audience" button, then click "Custom Audience". Fill in the required and desired data. Once finished, Facebook will process your Custom Audience data for approximately 3 days.

To check if your Custom Audience process is complete, click the Dropdown button at the top left, then select Audiences.

If your Custom Audience table still says "Pending", then the Custom Audience data is still being processed. If the Custom Audience data is ready, go to the Offline Event you created earlier.

  1. In your Offline Event campaign, click "Create Audiences", then select "Lookalike Audiences".

Note: Here, your data will be analyzed by Facebook to find new visitors with similar profiles to the contact data you uploaded previously.

  1. After configuring Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences, you can create Ads as usual by selecting the Audiences you specified earlier.
