In this article, you will learn how a Page can be integrated with Facebook Pixel. Facebook Pixel is a tool that can be used to track user behavior, making it easy for you to create an audience for your ad targets.

To use it, you must first integrate MTARGET with Facebook Pixel by adding the Facebook Pixel ID to MTARGET. Here are the steps you can follow:

Creating a Facebook Pixel ID

  1. Log in to your Facebook Ads dashboard.

  2. Click the dropdown at the top left, then select Pixel.

  3. After entering the Pixel menu, click "Create a Pixel" or click the "Add new data source" button, then select Facebook Pixel.

  4. You will be prompted to provide the Page you want to integrate with Facebook Pixel. Enter the Pixel Name as the campaign name in Facebook Pixel, then for the "Check your websites for easy setup options" command, fill in with the link of the Page you want to integrate with Facebook Pixel.

  5. Three options will appear; select "Manually add Pixel code to Website."

  6. Click the "Email Instructions" button next to the "Continue" button.

  7. You will get your Facebook Pixel ID here. Copy the code.

  8. Now, log in to https://mtarget.co/login.

After logging in, go to the Page section. Then click the Manage Analytic button in the navigation and action section of the page. You will be directed to the analytics management page.

Paste your Pixel ID into the provided column. Then click Save Changes.

  1. Return to Facebook Pixel. At the third stage, test whether the Page has been successfully integrated. You can enter the Page link into the third column. After clicking the 'Send Test Traffic' button, if the red color turns green, the integration has succeeded. Continue by clicking the 'Continue' button.

  2. Click 'Use Facebook's Event Setup Tool'

  3. You will be asked to choose behaviors based on the clicked buttons. There are nine parameters:

  • Purchase

  • Lead

  • Complete Registration

  • Add Payment Info

  • Add to Cart

  • Add to Wishlist

  • Initiate Checkout

  • Search

  • View Content

Choose the ones that suit your needs. It is recommended to set at least three parameters.

  1. After defining the Events, click "Finish".

Your Page has now been successfully integrated with Facebook Pixel. You will not only see the number of Page Views but also which buttons are clicked the most to determine the behavior.

Tips

Checking Pixel Status

After installing the Pixel, the process can sometimes take time. You can install an extension or add-on to check whether the Pixel is properly installed on MTARGET.

Add the extension from Chrome Webstore: Facebook Pixel Helper. Click Add to Chrome to add it.

Afterward, open the page you have created and click the Facebook Pixel Helper icon in the top right corner of your browser.

If an image like the one below appears, then Facebook Pixel is integrated with MTARGET and ready for use.
